Series Description:

Shortly after his baptism in the Jordan River, Jesus was “led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil” (Matthew 4:1). The story of Jesus’ 40-day time of testing is one of the most unusual and misunderstood in the Gospel accounts. Alone with the very enemy he has come to destroy, Jesus faces three tests or “temptations” that are all aimed at calling him away from his identity, his belovedness, and his purpose as the Son of God.

In this Lenten sermon series, Pastor Bob Kaylor will lead us in exploring how Jesus faced down the accuser in the wild and offer some ways we can be equipped to address every demonic challenge that comes our way as we go through the own wild places and times in our lives.

We encourage you to get your existing discipleship small group or Sunday School class together and use this book to guide your conversations!
