VBS Decoration Request

The VBS Decorations Committee is asking for Unadorned Christmas Trees to help decorate our Alaskan themed VBS.

If you are willing to bring a tree we ask that you bring it and set it up in the Great Room by Sunday July 13 and that you dismantle it and take it home by July 27. We realize that all trees are different and that they are expensive - so we do not want to be responsible for assembling or disassembling your trees! Please be sure to tag your tree with your name, so we can identify who it belongs to. Thank you!!

VBS Set Up

Sunday July 13 after the 11:00 service.

We will need help removing the chairs from the Sanctuary and the tables and chairs from the downstairs Fireside Room.

We will also need help with last minute decorating touches throughout the church.

If you are able to stay and help it would be greatly appreciated!

The church will supply the hamburgers and hot dogs! Bring a salad, side dish, or dessert to share.

Join us for this insightful series, developed by Amy-Jill Levine, an Orthodox Jew and professor of New Testament at Vanderbilt Divinity School. Featuring a short video, Bible Study and insightful questions, you'll gain a new perspective and appreciation for Jesus' favorite teaching method - telling stories!

The whole family is invited for our Family Mission Trip on Saturday, July 26th, from 7:30-3:30.

We'll caravan to Olney Springs, CO (about 40 miles east of Pueblo), and help our sisters and brothers at the United Methodist Church give their historic building a little face lift! Chores and jobs for all ages (8 and up) and abilities, and we'll enjoy a lunch with some Olney Springs UMC members too.

School of Worship

Calling musicians and vocalists 10 years of age and older Please join us for School of Worship this Summer
Thursdays 5:00PM to 6:15PM June 19th, and 26th July 3rd and 10th Optional: Stay for rehearsal from 6:30 to 8:00PM with the Band!
This experience will equip musicians to use their gifts in Sunday morning Contemporary and Traditional worship.

Help reach out to our neighbors with the love of Christ by providing food for our neighbors!

Bring your staple and canned food donations weekly and drop them off in the wagon in the Great Room.

This month, they are requesting:

• Canned Mixed Veggies
• Canned Corn
• Oats
• Oatmeal
• Canned Chicken
• Canned Tuna
• Pinto Beans
• Refried Beans
