Local Service Opportunities
At Tri-Lakes United Methodist Church, we believe that serving extends beyond our walls. We are called to love and serve our neighbors, offering hope and help in tangible ways.
Below are some of the ways to get involved in our local community through partnerships and service opportunities:
- Acts of Random Kindness: Join our Youth Group as they venture out into the community to share kindness and hope with others during one of their quarterly Acts of Random Kindness events. Can’t make it? Share some kindness and spread the hope of Jesus on your own!
- Hope & Home: Donate your time, talent, or treasure to help support a safe, loving environment for foster children.
- Tri-Lakes Cares: Support local families in the Tri-Lakes area by donating to our ongoing TLC food drive.
- Trash Cleanup and Fire Mitigation: Join efforts to care for and protect our community. Cleanup opportunities are available during our all-church spring cleaning, all-church summer mission, and youth local mission. Help pick up trash and clear brush to maintain defensible space in wildfire-prone areas.
- Vitalant Blood Drives: Donate blood during one of our church-sponsored drives. These are open to the entire community.
