Welcome to Tri-Lakes United Methodist Church

We hope you’ll explore these pages and all the ministries and opportunities for worship, learning, growth, and service. Then, we hope you’ll join us for worship in person at one of our two Sunday services or online at tlumc.org/live.

As a church grounded in the Methodist tradition, we value scriptural teaching, intentional disciple-making, gracious hospitality, and neighborhood service. Our mission is to build up followers of Jesus Christ who love and serve God and neighbor through acts of worship, devotion, compassion, and service. We would love to welcome you at a service soon!

Frequently Asked Questions

Find quick answers to your questions about Tri-Lakes UMC. Explore our FAQs below to learn more about our church service on Sunday and how to stay informed.

9:30 a.m. Service

The music in this service is more modern and is led by our worship band. You can expect to see many people dressed casually and sipping coffee as they enter. During the school year, parents may drop their children in Sunday school as early as 9:25. During the summer, we offer Children’s Worship during the 9:30 a.m. service. Children are excused for Children’s Worship after the opening song set and return in time for Holy Communion.

11:00 a.m. Service
The music in this service is more traditional and accompanied by organ music. We sing from the hymnal a few times during the service.

All services serve Holy Communion each week. Everyone is welcome to take Communion from the Lord’s table.

As you enter one of the services, an usher will hand you a weekly bulletin. Please let an usher know if you have special seating needs, such as a wheelchair or hearing aid. You can fill out a connection card, which is in the seatback pocket.  If you have a prayer request, prayer cards are available in the sanctuary and at the Prayer Wall. We hope you enjoy our church community and look forward to seeing you soon!

We hope you come to church in whatever makes you feel comfortable. We care more about you and your relationship with Jesus than what you look like. Our only request is that you wear clothes 🙂

We have a vibrant youth and teenage ministry that meets regularly for fellowship and worship. Our children’s programs provide a safe and supportive environment for young people to grow in their faith and develop meaningful relationships.

Specific programs are available for various age groups:

Children and youth Sunday school classes are available during the 9:30 a.m. service. Children meet in the Faith Forest (Wesley Hall), and youth meet in the classrooms on the lower level of the building. Nursery care is available for ages 0-4 at both services.  Please visit our Children and Youth pages for more information.

Summer: During the summer, we offer Youth Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. We do not offer Sunday school for children during the summer, but Children’s Worship is available during the 9:30 a.m. service. Children are excused for Children’s Worship after the opening song set and return in time for Holy Communion.
